Lebanon, Virginia is near my hometown, right in the heart of coal mining country, where the Democrats are not the modern communist type, but of the New Deal/John L. Lewis variety. Obama is dead in the water there, and the folks at this rally were probably liberal college kids from outside the area. Even my hard core New Deal Democrat dad, who's never voted Republican in his life, is telling me that he will NOT vote for THAT man [Obama]!
