The amount of hateful comments on the blogosphere about this loving couple is despicable. Just Google “Bristol and Levi” and you will think you opened the Gates of Hell.
I think McCain/Palin wrote off the UK electoral votes long ago. I forget how many do they have?
I urge everyone to do what I have decided to do to counter all of the Palin smears. Whenever I see a new smear of Mrs. Palin, I do a drinking trick. Instead of downing a beer, I go to the RNC.com site and donate. The more egregious the smear, the higher the donation. Its up to you all what you feel is egregious-but to me, little Trig brings out the beast in me, so, if it involves Trig, its at least a $25 donation, belittling religion gets you $25-$50, and bashing anyone in the family is minimum $15. Criticizing Piper and her hair styling, for example, net the RNC another $50. Decide for yourself. I love this game......the Palin family wins. The RNC wins. McCain/Palin combo wins. BTW-This is the first time I have ever given to a political campaign and I love it!
The headline doesn’t seem to point to a hit piece inside, unlike US Magazine’s using ‘lies’ and ‘scandal’. The Palins’ probably only sat for a limited number of baby photos which the media has to share.

Barbra Streisand. Yes OK! is sensationalist; that's the nature of supermarket mags.
But there is a qualitative difference between
"A Mother's Painful Choice. How she's standing by her teenage daughter" and
"Babies, Lies, and Scandal. Under attack admits daughter 17 is pregnant."
Most people do not buy these magazines, they look at the covers whilst waiting in the checkout line. Go shopping tomorrow and see for yourself. Watch other shoppers. Few pick up the magazines but MOST look over the titles. Now what message are they getting from this magazine?
I’m sorry, did you overlook “Sarah Palin’s Baby Scandal” in the bright pink box next to the picture?
Precisely what “baby scandal” are they referring to?
No, I seriously do not see it as a hit piece. I know what you are saying about people only looking over the titles (I used to work for YEARS in Retail), but this leaves a MUCH different feeling when one reads it versus the US Weekly title. The little pink box is NOT going to stand out — the Yellow title, and the words under it are what most people are going to see/read. Much different than the “LIES” title.
Scandal /= lies.
Sorry. Don’t buy it.
Precisely where is the ‘scandal’ they speak of?
Over at the wowow womyns site, some poster (with a pic and name of a male doctor) - kept posting demands for her amniotic fluids and such - it’s like Monica’s dress x10!!!
