“If people want to vote for the GOP candidate that doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is the willingness to overlook the obvious flaws in our presidential candidate to do so. “

What bothers me is that there are way too many people that claim to be Conservative but are actual one issue - pro-life. I am pro-life but that is not enough for me. I want them out of my wallet. Off my land. and out of my life.

However, the measure of a candidate’s “life” position is a startling marker for every other issue. How may I expect a man or woman to possess good judgment and the courage to lead well, if he or she is incapable or unwilling to uphold the most fundamental issue: the inviolability of innocent human life?

The conviction that human life must be protected in all its stages is capital. It is Divine Law, established by God Himself. It is the prudential marker of Wisdom. One who does not respect an unborn child’s “right to life” will respect even less all other rights subordinate to that proposition, including those enumerated in the American Bill of Rights.
