She gave a speech in Texas, her water burst and she flew home to have the baby. She got a doctor’s okay, but that will be ignored.

Funny you mention this. My expecting wife and I just completed a class on birthing and we learned that it can be quite a bit of time between water breaking and actual delivery. If the doctor is fine with it, then there is no big deal at all.

Her water didn’t break, it was leaking. If your water breaks, don’t fool around, get to the hospital. My water broke at home with my first child, and my daughter was born about 45 minutes later - 10 minutes after we got there.

When my wife was pregnant with our oldest her water broke at like 11 PM. She called her doctor. He told her to go to bed and call the office when they open at 8 and they will have her come in for a look over.

Thank God too, because I was hammered and many hours away from being able to drive. And then when we did get in the car I had to stop for gas! My wife was thrilled.
