Yes, the “seriously high Republicans” are the pundits who feel that they are gatekeepers of the Republican message and image.
I am convinced that she was talking about beltway/I-95 corridor writers, not elected officials.
McCain disappointed the ‘moderates’ bigtime, thus retaining his maverick title. And they are seriously pi**ed.
Ha Ha Ha! Christie Todd Whitman and her crowd probably are still in shock.

Yup, Kruathammer is blinded by the light. It is unfortunate that he does not recognize leadership when it bites him in the butt. The difference between Palin and the dem ticket is conviction. She has conviction. I guess the beltway boys and girls haven't seen conviction in decades and can no longer recognize the trait.
