I’m pretty sick of the threat that a Democrat president will push amnesty through a democrat controlled congress. Bush pushed amnesty for a democrat controlled congress and we the people still stopped it.

Amazing as it may seem, we’re all constituents no matter who gets elected and we have the same voice. As pathetic as Debbie Stabenow is, we still manage to get some decent immigration votes out of her through the threat of removal from office.

What we need is a “Million American March,” where a million Americans actually show up in Washington to demand that something effective be done about illegal aliens.

First, an amnesty bill passed the Senate in 2006, S-2611. While you are patting yourself on the back for stopping amnesty--McCain-Kennedy, the forces for it [Dems, RINOs, US Chamber of Commerce, labor unions, ACLU, Catholic Church, La Raza, etc.] will continue to press for it. Subsequent to the defeat of McCain-Kennedy, they tried to pass amnesty piecemeal by attaching the Dream Act to the DOD appropriations bill and a guest worker program to the Ag bill. The Dems are in the process of eviscerating 287 [g] authority and eliminating the e-verify program, which expires in November.

Time is on the side of the pro-amnesty crowd as the Hispanic political influence broadens in this country. By 2050, Hispanics will be almost one in three in this country up from the current 15%. Approximately two-thirds of the 1.2 million legal immigrants who enter this country annually are Hispanic and comprise the overwhelming majority of the 500,000 to 1 million who enter illegally. Generally, immigrants vote for the Dems. One in 8 residents of America are foreign-born, the highest it has been in 85 years. In a decade or so it will be one in seven the highest in our history, and by 2050, it will be one in 5.

Amazing as it may seem, we’re all constituents no matter who gets elected and we have the same voice. As pathetic as Debbie Stabenow is, we still manage to get some decent immigration votes out of her through the threat of removal from office..

The Dems will vote for amnesty except for the blue dogs. A McCain presidency will give the RINOs in the Senate the political cover they need to vote for amnesty. McCain will use his election as a mandate to carry thru with his policies. I suggest you go to McCain's official website and see what his policy is on immigration and border security. You are in for a suprise, especially the part about the "undocumented." McCain can't even call them illegal aliens.
