The Obama ticket reminds me of the popular new dance/night club that loses business when the newer/hotter club opens across the street. Their first reaction will be to talk bad about the people who go to the new club. Then in desperation they will eliminate the cover charge and offer nickel beers. I predict by Nov 4 Club Obama will be out of business.

When you base your whole future on image and youth, what are you going to do when someone younger, prettier and with substance shows up?

The McCain ticket reminds me of JFK's appearance in Paris during his visit to Europe. France was enormously taken with Jackie, for she was of French extraction, beautiful, educated, cosmopolitan, charming - everything the French thought of themselves and wished the world to think of them. The French made much of her, both publicly and privately.

JFK was introduced by the speaker, came to the podium, and said with wry amusement, "I'm John Kennedy. You all know me. I'm the guy that came to Paris with Jackie."
