She was a Stanford graduate and Fulbright scholar who went to South Africa to register people to vote in the waning days of Apartheid and was stabbed to death by a mob one night.

Yesterday, Amy Biehl’s mother and one of the four men convicted of her 1993 murder sat together on stage at Fenway High School. Together, they brought a message of truth and reconciliation to Boston kids whose own lives are plagued by violence.

“We as a family had to figure out how to love and respect and honor her memory,” Linda Biehl recalled of the days following her daughter’s murder. “In her death, she left me an opportunity to participate in the lives of people halfway around the world.”

Yum Bay Yah my Lord, Kum Bay Yah...

You killed my daughter, how about NO punishment and WE can give you in-state tuition.

I am actually a good cook, want some dinner...those clothes look dirty, how about I wash them for you? Cash, no problem, here’s a few dollars...

You know what, I really didn’t like my daughter anyway, can I adopt you?

Liberal garbage.

I will never judge someone who wishes to forgive a person who has done unthinkable things. We forgive for our souls, not theirs. I met a man, who not only forgave the man who killed his Father, but worked towards his release from prison and gave him a place to live.

PS: The guy took off with the first girl he met and my friend never heard from him again. But that's ok with him. It's a remarkable tale.
