There's really a great set of common themes running through that make sense. And I think they are a good match for the current circumstance in American politics.

I hope McCain sticks to his back-to-basics emphasis, those things that we can all agree on. If he does, he can accomplish some things as president and leave a good record for Sarah Palin to follow on.
