I searched again. The name "Chris Miller," a pseudonym I believe, keeps popping up. Then I found this in Google groups (alt.religion.scientology):
"The scurrilous poster had pseudonyms of " ArcXIX ", or as he is also known, "AgentArc " ...
"And the next day follow-up.
"The writing style right off the keyboard of a "Chris Miller", an OSA insidered active in 1995 trying to "handle" the internet.
"Mark Rathbun has an affinity with the term "ARC"--it's a scientology term, and he has recently written about it here:

That's quite a bit of research you've done there.
I hope we get to the bottom of the disgusting attacks against the Palins, especially Bristol.
Obama has a history of getting opponents out of the way without looking like the culprit.
I hope this time it bites him in the ass.
Yeah. A-R-C In spoken scientologese it's said by saying each letter. The letters stand for Affinity-Reality-Communication, the component parts of understanding.
ARC is as close a term as scientology has for love/affection.
The Chris Miller in the scientology example might be a pseudonym for Mark C Rathbun.

If you look here, you will Rathbun lists his birthday as “january 9”, or 1-9, or XIX. In scientology the upper level courses are named OTI thru OTVII. Rathbun, the organizer for “South Texas for Obama” recently wrote a treatise on the scientology ter “ARC”, many end their correspondence with “Arc” rather than “Yours”.

Could Rathbun be ArcXIX ?
Here is a bio of Rathbun.
