Does anybody know what lapel pin Sarah was wearing last night? I kind of looked like an Israeli flag - rectangular in shape; white background; blue object in the middle and two horizontal blue lines above and below.

Or maybe I'm just seeing things...

Someone on another thread said the pin was a blue star, to symbolize that she had a child in the military.

It was a service flag pin. Shows she has a child serving in a war.

The service lapel pin may be worn by members of the immediate family of a person serving in the Armed Forces of the United States during any period of war or hostilities in which the Armed Forces of the United States may be engaged, for the duration of such period of war or hostilities.

The blue star of the service lapel pin shall signify that one or more members are serving in the Armed Forces during conditions listed above. Multiple blue stars are not authorized (per Department of Defense regulations)

I read that she wears an Israeli flag pin, that she has the Israeli flag hanging in her office. But I am not positive about the pin. The “Blue Star” (Mother) service pin usually is a blue star (one for each child serving) in a field of white with a red border.

That was a Blue Star Mother’s pin. The left is trying to spin that and tell people she was wearing an Israel flag pin. I got an email this morning (on a dummy acct where I get emails from new media and other leftist groups to watch what they are doing) encouraging people to start spreading that Sarah refuses to wear a US Flag pin, and instead, is a puppet for Israel.

We debunked it first thing.
