Can someone tell me how he did?

I got a phone call at beginning of speech and it ended with the balloon drop.

I missed the whole thing!

He didn’t rally as well as Palin, but that wasn’t the mission tonight. He talked about Washington corruption and laid out some ways to fight it, spoke movingly about his POW experience and laid out some policy stuff. He talked about plans for school choice, which I think is a great idea because now Obama gets to tell us why poor black kids should go to schools that don’t even teach them to read.

A great line: “My country saved me.” H also said that his POW years were a case of being “blessed by misfortune” because they made him a better man.

Krauthammer is calling it a very successful speech.
