Please keep in mind that this speech was not designed for us. We got Sarah! This speech was perfect - designed for pertinent issues and very, very well balanced across the board.

McCain's speech was on the money.
He made the case for why he and not Obama is the correct choice to bring change to DC and to be Commander in Chief.
He isn't the orator that Obama or Palin are, but he was genuine and was speaking primarily to the voters in the red states who love their country. My guess is it served its purpose very well.

I'm not so sure the writer should be fired but the speech was delivered with the excitement of a bowl of oatmeal cooling. As I stated on another thread yesterday "Palin's got baggage, unfortunately it's John McCain." The speech tonight didn't change my mind.
I don't expect any post convention bounce other than what Palin brings with her.
