I know he needs to appeal to the independants in order to win, but this is the Republican convention. You don’t have to go all out with partisanship, just don’t mention “reaching out” tonight.

Hey - I’m just saying that Barack won’t make the mistake of Saddleback and look completely ridiculous by not giving direct answers.
I’m sure Obama will look ridiculous for other reasons, but I doubt we can rely on that anymore. His handlers have couched him away from those convoluted answers.

Yes he has VERY much earned the right, no doubt there but if could lessen the impact of by it with several other speakers before him.
They should have let McCain telling HIS story in HIS own words and not many other speakers BEFORE him on precceeding nights. It looks like they are flogging a good story to death
