A broken teleprompter...

I noticed a point about 2/3 way through the speech. She'd just made a point and the audience was loud. She looked down and mumbled something, then looked up again and went right on with her delivery, a smile on her face.

My reaction was, was that an open-mike moment? I couldn't tell what she mumbled, but it was obvious it wasn't prepared. Now, I wonder whether that's when the teleprompter went down, or continued on its string and put her off pace. Whichever, she handled it flawlessly.

Just heard the teleprompter began to malfunction during Guiliani and wasn’t working when Palin began per Fox news.

I caught one little flub, that was handled so well and so smoothly that it hardly seemed like an error at all. She was talking about dependence on foreign oil and said something like “ and Venezuela might cut of their discoveries (that was the slip) and deliveries of those discoveries.” I think she said discoveries instead of deliveries but then seamlessly fixed it in mid sentence, without so much as batting an eyelash.
