Please forgive my lack of participation — truth is — I tune in once in a while for a reality check.
Mom went to work at a shoe factory. Dad took care of the kids. Eventually, they were to have 3 more kids (me being the youngest). So mom went to work and dad stayed home. Mom did the cooking and took care of the home. Dad was a skilled mechanic, and restored antiques that he sold to help pay expenses. We kids took care of a large garden. Mom canned every autumn.
So if anybody dares say a woman can't have a job and take care of her family, that's a personal insult about my mom!
The Dems better watch their mouths! There's more like me out there in “fly over country” who don't like their attitudes!
My guess is that all of these bitter critics of Palin didn't see it necessary to have their own families.
We have bitter, childless commentators digging into a person who has 5 kids and may be VP.
And I am not in any way criticizing people who don't have children. It's not for everyone.
Just the ones who chose not to have kids, and are now bitter at someone who chose to have them.
Perhaps you should tune in a bit more, maybe you’d see what a great executive, even-tempered leader Palin will be. Your accusations of someone who is hotheaded sound a bit like the leftist commentaries from last nights lamestreammedia.

Beschloss made an utter fool of himself with his comments this morning.
But what else could we expect from this quintessential eastern media/academic elitist?

Beschloss said his whole life changed when he became a father, and he didn’t feel as free (paraphrased) in pursuing his career. I hope his kids don’t know that he feels “burdened” by them.
It’s not as if he has a difficult job. He gets up, hands the kids off to a nanny and a maid, heads for his office and sits around all day researching and writing.
I didn’t realize that it is so hard to write revisionist history.

I’m sure she wouldn’t mind helping Mike out, since she plagiarizes most of her stuff anyway!
The left will never understand capable, self-reliant people. The neighborhood that I grewup in mirrors your story. They were NORMAL people. The leftists had to have been coddled and shielded from real life by their parents. It’s the only conclusion that I can come to.
