We have a mildly autistic son. The way Mrs. Palin talked about Trig brought tears to Mrs. GBC’s eyes.

We have a mildly autistic son. The way Mrs. Palin talked about Trig brought tears to Mrs. GBCs eyes. She won a whole heck of alot of votes and affection from parents everywhere, not just parents of children with special needs. I think every parent is touched by her love for her child with down syndrome.

We have a mildly autistic son. The way Mrs. Palin talked about Trig brought tears to Mrs. GBCs eyes.As she spoke about being an advocate for special needs kids and their parents, I said to the wife "this is a demographic that no one has thought to tap". How many voters know of or are related to a child with special needs? I don't know, but maybe enough to swing an election?
