Okay, couldn’t President Bush pardon everyone in his administration, up to, and including Vice President Cheney, then resign and the new president, Mr. Cheney, would give him a blanket pardon?
Along those same lines, I always wondered what would happen if a president elect, along with the vice-president elect, were accidentally killed after winning the election in November.
Who would be sworn in on Jan. 21?
Would it be the Speaker of the House, and would he or she then serve the entire four years, or would there be another election??
