Democratic vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden said yesterday that he and running mate Barack Obama could pursue criminal charges against the Bush administration if they are elected in November. Not surprising. And for the sake of consistency, they'll dismiss any and all charges being levied against Biden's son and brother in the fraud scheme they are currently embroiled in.

I wouldn’t trust either to handle a small-claims case.

He said this a long time ago. It says “could” ...not “would”. If Bush broke the law which he hasn’t.

hint: In 2006, the democrats said they “could” end the Iraq war if you voted them into control congress. The moonbats came out and voted for them. And then sat their shocked that instead of ending the war, the dems just continued to vote for war spending bills as long as they got lots of pork out of it.

Between the bilge the MSM is puking up daily about McCain/Palin and the insanity of nObama and Biden, conservatives are about to hit a boiling point.

Oh, goody. More profundities from Smugs & Plugs.

Biden has been in congress for ALL of Bush’s administration. Obama has been there for what? A year and a half... What’s been preventing them from filing charges all this time? That IS part of their job NOW, isn’t it??? Morons.

Yeah, bring on that change Joe. This will go over like a lead balloon with the American people. With everything else that’s going on in the world, their top priority will be investigating the previous administration? Losers.

"[N]ot out of vengeance, not out of retribution," he added, "out of the need to preserve the notion that no one, no attorney general, no president -- no one is above the law."Liar.
It's another indication of how desperate they are. They're hoping to rally the Bush haters to get some votes.

"They are truly insane." It is frustrating that there isn't a clearer even more emphatic way to say that.

This isn't going to get any votes in the center. They are just whipping up the KOS Kooks but they already have their votes. Between this and the nonstop rumor mill on Gov Palin the shark may have been jumped.

Okay, couldn’t President Bush pardon everyone in his administration, up to, and including Vice President Cheney, then resign and the new president, Mr. Cheney, would give him a blanket pardon?

Yes, he did qualify it a bit, as you say, but I happened to be watching that on C-Span when he said it. He was responding to a question which was whether an Obama administration would pursue criminal charges against the Bush administration. His answer was “Yes.” Period, full stop. Then he went on to explain how it would be done, along with Waxman and Leahy who are already, as he explained, gathering evidence and preparing the ground.
I thought it was pretty striking when I watched it - first press mention I have seen of it.
