Nah, I'm not accusing you or the article of that. Anyway, I doubt we're going to see any members of the GOP try and use this incident against Biden, if for no other reason than they know this isn't going to get any traction with voters.
But your points about the media are spot on- they're already ramping up the slime machine in order to make Plain look like an irresponsible mother (which they would never have the guts to try with a Democratic female candidate- the Harpies at NOW would descend on them and strip their flesh right to the bone). I think it's going to lead to a backlash, though, especially among working women.
I think the McCain campaign should keep doing what it's doing- remain above this type of thing and continue to present a dignified, Presidential aura to the public.
