I would like to say Thank you Sarah for running. You are a breath of fresh air. I look forward to the next few months learning about you and your view points and positions. I am sorry for what you and your family are having to put up with from the left. I am ashamed of how some of my fellow countrymen and women are acting. I find it unacceptable that pro-CHOICE people are being so horrible to your daughter who had a choice and chose LIFE. Seems like the only position they would have accepted was if she chose to have an abortion (without anyone's approval). I was filled with joy when Mr. McCain announced you as his choice for VP. At last someone who could relate to real women who take care of home and family, work full time, are pro life and care about this country from a conservative view point. Good luck Sarah and THANK YOU!

The depths the establishment media and their cohorts have reduced themselves to is in direct proportion to your accomplishment, intelligence, goodness, strength and beauty. Like all bullies, at heart, they're afraid.

We're right behind you and all around you. We love you and thank you!

My dear Sarah,

Thank you and your beautiful family for accepting the challenges ahead of you with grace and courage under fire. You are clearly a very cohesive family, and one that my husband and I admire greatly, even though we’ve only just begun to learn about you. May God give strength to you, Todd, Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper, Trig, Levi and his parents. May the country FINALLY see that what we need are Pro-life, Pro-family, Pro-country positions - and that you and your family fit them all.

Good luck, Thank you, and God Bless You!

Scott & Melissa, and their conservative children, Jeremy, Kyle, Ellen and Anne.

Sear Sarah, I live in Wasilla and I am sure you may recall hearing my name in concrete circles, hint: my outfit delivered to the Houston railroad overpass, Hyer and Trunk Road projects and a couple of schools, anyway I am saddened that you must bear the vindictive s of a shameless group of people that are stooping so low they need a stepladder to wipe a halibuts rear end.

Your toughest s days are now, you are chosen by destiny unlike others that were built up by groups that are not concerned about America’s future just that they can maintain their positions of power and manipulation.

You will always have your community behind you wishing and praying for you, some say you are as James Stewart was in Mr. Smith goes to Washington, perhaps it would make a good movie to rent for an evening, never the less by being what you are you have re-kindle an unbridled passion that America has not seen in years, many fear it and fear you and they are yelping like a wolf in a trap.

Please be strong for Alaska and be you, that is what everybody loves about you, McCain needs your support and the two of you I am sure can lead America through any crisis be in within or around the globe, so I wish for you to keep your strength and that you never back off of your goals.

A friend of many back home.

The low life scumbags keep proving why they need to be defeated and why we need folks like you Sarah Palin to help defeat them. Best of luck to you and all us right thinking people.

Sarah and family, we are behind you 110%. Your acceptance of the candidacy is what America needs, a down home family we all can identify with. Ignore the National Media and the leftists, they are only upset because they know that your name being added to the ticket means they stand no chance.

Hug Bristol for all of us and let her know we love her and stand behind her as well. No 17 year old should have to face what she is from the loons on the left, but just remember, they are the loons who have shown their hatred of America and women in general.

Stay strong and hold your heads high, you are an All American Family and exactly the breath of fresh air America has needed for a long time.

This Viet Nam Veteran and my entire family support you all wholeheartedly.

Thanks Sarah! You and your family are in our prayers. The MSM and the left will attack you and your family like a pack of wild dogs because you scare them. But don’t forget that you have millions of supporters who stand by you and will show up at the polls. Don’t let them get you down!

My Dear Governor Palin:

Madam, we are only too proud and grateful that you have assumed the terrible responsibility of campaigning for Vice-President of the United States.

Your courageous decision, in the face of overwhelming hate and vitriol directed against you and your family, has galvanized Americans across the land.

Your foes and opponents are legion; indeed they are the majority of the citizenry right now. Take heart in knowing that I, and countless veterans like me, appreciate that you understand the value of leading by example; and that your example has been sorely needed for our country.

You have provided all of us with a standard to rally behind, and the courage to move forward into a future for this nation: not in a slouch toward Socialism, but in the direction of Ronald Reagan’s great city on the hill.

We here at Free Republic can only wish you and your family all good fortune, and the promise we will wholeheartedly support you in the grueling months to come.

Yours Sincerely,

OLD SARGE

Dear Governor Palin: While I do not, can not and will not support your religious beliefs or your beliefs regarding family planning and do not want them imposed upon me or my family I like everything else you stand for. I therefore, can, do and will support you and will vote for the McCain-Palin ticket.

Sarah, hang in there. The backbone of this nation—the working families, the small town denizens need some representation in Washington DC, a city that long ago forgot about middle America except as a source of taxation. You have the experience, wisdom and common sense to give a voice to values which are endangered when government is run by autocrats who presume the privilege of governing the “common people” for their own good. Your voice is needed. Your example of living your principles, of forgiving and loving will surely encourage the next generation to stay the course and love this country again as much as do you. We will be praying for you, your family and Senator McCain and his family to lead this nation in the direction it is destined to go.

Thank you, Governor Palin. The Republican ticket is all I could ever ask for. While I am sorry that the issues of your son, and of your daughter’s pregnancy have come up in any way, I am psychologist enough to know that the best indicator of what a person will do is what they have done in the past. You stuck with your core values in both of these situations. I suspect, therefore, that across the spectrum of core values, you are going to do the right thing every time. Ronald Reagan was the last president I remember that always proved to be what he presented himself to be.

Senator McCain’s steadfastness as a POW established him as a person who took to heart Shakespeare’s great lines—”This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell; my blessing season this in thee!”

Both of you have shown more integrity than I have seen in most politicians heretofore in my 72 years of life. Thank you so much.
