Here is a direct quote from today's show:

“In order for McCain to have a chance, She will have to resign as fast as possible. She will be forgotten.”
Savage 9/2/08

Savage is truly a twisted and conflicted individual in need of medication. Sad thing is he has such a large audience that hangs on to his every word. Even my own GOP precinct captain admits that Savage is the only show he will listen too. He also, like Savage, does not agree with Palins as VP, though he not quite as belligerent about it. Maybe because unlike Savage, he doesn't drink. This group, thinking this way is a very small percentage of those calling them selves Republicans or conservatives, but they are loud and active.

I wish Savage would just shut up or join the other party.

Savage has a strong contrarian streak that often serves him well, and at other times gets the better of him. He basically has a 50/50 chance of being vindicated... either it will be the biggest political blunder, or the most brilliant strategic move in modern politics. We will find out one way or the other.

LMAO! Well thanks but let me clarify, no, being male alone is not enough to be V.P. but if I want someone to be lead this nation through the 21st century and possibly lead our military, I want a 'qualified' male who's DNA is more compatible with leading rather than a supposedly qualified woman who's DNA is more compatible with nurturing.

There's a reason God created men and women differently, women have their strengths and men have theirs, only a nation at their peril will refuse to recognize and take advantage of these differences. The Islamics no doubt will be dripping with anticipation if an unproven, untested, woman should ever take over the ultimate leadership position in this country.

Oh man, that Dr. Laura thread was something else,,,,I agree, I thought it was the DUmmies in action but it was actually FReepers, I can’t believe what I’m reading the last couple of days, if this was a dems daughter these FReepers would be all over it 24/7 going on and on about morals, bad parenting, home schooling, etc. etc. etc. but because it’s a repub that they like the behavior is now acceptable, it’s just beyond me and it sickens me to no end how quickly some/most FReepers can turn on a dime when it suits their purpose........

My Mom always told me if you can’t say something nice about someone, don’t say anything at all.

Sorry Mom...

I want to look Savage straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, ####less, hopeless, heartless, fat-###, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey $$$$ he is.
Hallelujah. Holy $$$$.

Experience? What experience! She has all of 18 months experience in office, Governor of a state with a population less than just about any major city in the country, yet now she's qualified to lead the most powerful nation in the free world against all enemies foreign and domestic, is this now an OTJ training position? (twilight music now playing in the background)

Bush now talking via satellite, sounds like there's only several hundred people in the audience, quite a contrast to the 80,000 plus Obama screaming sycophants that we witnessed last week.

Experience, leadership, character, honesty, God-fearing, and above all being 'MALE' to lead the most powerful military in the world against the MALE leaders of our enemies. Women and men are NOT created equal, it is naive to assume they think the same, reason the same, make decisions the same way. Men were born to lead, women were created to be their helpmates not the other way around.

I like Palin, she's created a lot of excitement and has many repubs opening their pocketbooks to donate $$$, she'll get some undecided women voters, she'll get the NRA voters, etc. etc. etc. I like what she's done in Alaska with the bridge to nowhere, etc. however, I agree with you on the men being born to lead, women created to be helpers, I shudder at the idea of a woman president, republican or otherwise I don't think that position should ever be given to a woman, women are too emotional especially ahem during certain times of the month and more so during menopause, I wouldn't want a woman making hard choices during those times, sorry people but it's still a man's world, always was, always will be.

Innie, outie, no thats not my argument, if you're qualified, you're qualified, Im not saying a woman can't lead but it's the exception, not the rule, if Palin is qualified, then why not Hillary who's been in the Governor's House for 8 years, been in the White House for 8 years , been a US Senator for 8 years. Hillary even talks with a stronger man type voice than Palin does, Palin sounds like your typical, say, "hockey mom",lol!

I don't understand this argument that says a governor is more uniquely more qualified than a US Senator to run the country, that automatically precludes McCain then.

My Mom always told me if you can’t say something nice about someone, don’t say anything at all.

Thats your problem, boys don't listen to their mom, thats why they have Dads to beat their a$$ when they step out of line, like you're obviously doing now, you obviously need a Dad like Savage to slap you into line.

It's pretty pathetic and disgusting the attacks on Dr. Laura just because she criticizes St. Sarah, you're definitely right about the hypocrisy that pervades FR, tis a shame I used to believe that liberals owned the patent on hypocrisy, but in that respect we've only become 2 sides of the same coin, but now there's another split coming you now will have water-carrying or lockstep conservatives versus the 'independent' conservatives or the nationalist conservatives.

Gee wish the convention held a larger crowd, I still have that 80,000 Obama screaming nutcases reverberating in my head.

Sad thing is he has such a large audience that hangs on to his every word.

Well, he does have the 3rd largest audience in the USA but we hardly "hang on his every word". As you can tell from this thread today, most of the Savage Nation Thread faithful disagree with him about Gov. Palin.
