We really have the opportunity to severely split the left against the rest of the diseased donkey party. I agree with your analysis. Especially that sentence. I was thinking about this today. I grew up with rural east coast Democrats, I saw what happened to the party after 68. I'm sure there are many Dem's who like the moonbats as much as we do. The crack is there, we just need to keep feeding it, but in their blind rage, they're doing it for us. I think they will wind up alienating more then they attract.

There are some parallels to 1968. The militant left will not behave for 2 more months. Right now the pollsters are crowing that Obama is sitting at 50% vs. 42 for McCain. He will not be sitting at 50% by this weekend. McCain has a real chance to turn this around, and it still is pre-debates.

I would love to see a situation where Obama is either locked in a tie or a little behind going into the debates. I don’t think he will hold up well under the pressure. I know that his militant, Rev. Wright followers will not behave and they will finish sinking him if he doesn’t do it himself. By the way we haven’t seen the commercials linking Obama to Ayers yet. Obama really I think needs to have minimum 10 point lead AFTER the conventions, and Palin and McCain haven’t even spoken yet. Not good position for Obama.
