So you think a 4-6 point post convention deficit is likely. Which is what we're seeing now. So you see no bounce from the GOP convention. Perhaps you're right.
However, I disagree. And I see less reason to worry now than I did last week. McCain/Palin raised $10 million over a holiday weekend. That will enable them to run even more very effective ads. And the energizing of the base by the Palin pick equates to a much stronger ground game. THAT worried me more than any national polling data regarding an electoral vote.
Yes, I hope the ground game will benefit from Palin’s selection. Which is important not only for McCain, but also for limiting the damage in the Senate and House elections.
