I wrote to them my two cents worth. I turned on CNN to watch about Gustav and possible flooding in NE Texas, and all they had was an hour of talking about a pregnant teenager. Helloooo, most people don’t care about a pregnant teenager right now.
You make an interesting point. The media was soooo interested in reporting about Gustav, that the Republican Convention abbreviated activities to focus on the natural disaster. Now the media has a problem: they can’t demagogue against the Repubs for having the convention in the middle of a national disaster, but they don’t want to focus too much attention on Bobby Jindal either. So they focus on the “important” topic of Palin’s pregnant daughter.
If McCain had any cajones, he’d get on the camera tomorrow and say, since you morons don’t want to report on the hurricane, we are going to resume the Republican National Convention so we can resume the discussion of real issues and why America would be absolutely insane to vote for the coke head and the plagiarizer with the bad hair plugs.
