Fox news just reported that she has hired a lawyer in her troopergate investigation. Doesn’t sound like a big deal, but that doesn’t mean the media won’t make it sound like one. If she hadn’t hired a lawyer I would have been suprised.
Probably because she is out of state now, and needs someone looking after her interests. After all, they are coming at her with both barrels now.
Fox just clarified that the lawyer was hired two weeks ago, and represents both the governor’s office as well as the individual. In AK, they don’t have in house counsel.
