Been there, done that. Bet a lot of other Freepers have to. Things happen that we may not always expect/plan, but we try to make the best out of them. I couldn't imagine what my life would have been like with out my now 27 year old son.
Of all the things God has done for me in my life, and there are just too many to list, putting Paula in my life when He did is still the greatest, short of making arrangements to save my soul. I have no idea what would have become of me had she not become pregnant, resulting in our marriage.
I admire those who have such a firm grasp on their lives and fortunes that they can afford the luxury being judgmental of others who don’t meet their standards. I’ll be busy enough on judgment day handling my own defense to worry about anyone else!
Congrats on a 27 year old son, mine is 21, and a fine young man. I'm a man by the way. As to teenage girls getting pregnant out of wedlock, well it happens. never happened to me, even though as a young man it could've.
Further I will say that these were nice girls, and lastly I will say that men are just as responsible for their morals as are the girls. Especially given that the men are usually a bit older than the girls.
