A woman is most certainly a mother prior to the birth. See the underlined.

She was a mother-to-be at the time, not yet a mother. The passage you underlined is meant in the future sense, as made clear by the passage immediately preceding it, "the child you will bear."

Elizabeth clearly calls Mary the mother of her Lord.

Those are the words, but if you have some teaching to follow that makes this some kind of denominational issue for you, then feel free to consider your point made.
