Hey, xzins, you were totally right about McCain’s making a smart VP pick. I owe you a Guinness or a Cuban dinner or a batch of brownies, if you ever come by this way.

Earrings? They’re barely visible. Some kind of small half-hoops with little stones, maybe?

Thanks for pointing out. I find the term “illegitimate child” loathsome. It has no place in human vocabulary.

In fact, Joseph was going to have her stoned to death...
Absolutely not! Joseph was a kind-hearted man - would God have chosen an angry and vengeful man to raise His Only Son?
Matthew 1:19
And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man and not wanting to disgrace her, planned to send her away secretly.

You have a nice day. This discussion is giving me that, Im going to wake up from this before I go crazy feeling. Paging Lewis Carroll ...What?! One of the world's leading English language dictionaries is not a good-enough source for you as regards the definition of the word "mother?" C'est la vie.

Uh...Mary was married to Joseph, the carpenter. Not when she became pregnant. She was espoused to Joseph (engaged) at the time. Yet Joseph - despite what would be considered the "norm" for the time - to put her off and publicly ridicule her, chose to go through with it and take her as his wife and to raise the Babe as his own.

No, Dobson is stating the MORALLY CORRECT decisions is being made.
NOBODY is say this is good to be 17 and pregnant. What is good is the decisions made by the future parents and future grandparents.
I would contrat the Palin Family’s decision with Edwards, Obama, Clintons, and even the Bidens.

Some look at an unexpected pregnanacy as a blessing in disguise.
Some look at it as a punishment.
How you ultimately look at something like this says a lot about your character.
I know how I would feel, and I know I’d rather have a leader who shares my feelings.
That child is a blessing!

How about telling it like it is Chaplain: Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Now that is the whole truth amen.
To: Colorado Cowgirl
I would totally agree with that.
At that time she was unwed.
