You can't prevent teen sexual activity and it's stupid to pretend otherwise.It's true that you can't control everything your kids do, but parenting is about raising children to be moral and responsible adults so that they can have the fortitude to do the right thing of their own volition. Even teenagers have the capability to display great maturity if they are given the tools to do so. They are not mindless beasts whose only drive is the sexual impulse!

Parents giving their teens contraceptives sends mixed messages at best, and more likely encourages teens to do things which they shouldn't be doing at that stage in their lives in the first place.
