I don’t know about evangelicals, but I think that many voters, whatever they think about abortion, would be happier about this situation if the daughter were giving up the baby for adoption.
I don’t see how that would be possible in this situation. The media would absolutely HOUND the adoptive family.

And have you noticed that any baby is always a fetus until the minute it’s born, but a celebrity baby is a baby from the moment of conception? And how many HOllywood mothers are praised to the skies for having babies without the benefit of marriage?

People like the Palins don’t just pass off their flesh and blood for someone else to raise for the convenience of the mother or family. They take care of their own. The Palins are like people in flyover country. Fiercely independent and decent.
