McCain has issued a statement saying he knew about it before he chose Palin, he considered it a private family matter, and he doesn’t think it makes a difference.

I DO think it makes a difference.

It underscores again that Palin is a regular lady from a regular family. She fishes, shoots, runs kids to school, worries over dating teens, and even has to deal with family crises.

And she’s governor of a state.

And she’s pro-life, and they’re not trying to kill a baby to make a problem go away. The abortion movement got off the ground in my era because we used to treat young girls who got carried away with their boyfriends as the worst creatures on the face of the earth. Because of how they were treated, they went looking desperately for a solution....and they came up with abortion.

That is hard to believe otherwise why not announce it up front--was the plan to wait until after the election --something doesn't compute

I have to say...I feel duped by this and the fact that of all days...today is when this get announced...that alone is very poor timing...this news should have been immediate....trying to throw it out there on a busy news day is very transpartent.

no one was more thrilled that I was...I have spend the last few days signing her praises, inclusing family values...

I am not a happy camper...I was not a huge McCain fan...Mitt was my guy but felt she the best choice...man this is going to hurt imho.

the road to Roe was paved by feminism ...and early by Civil Rights and Privacy precedence

not really a Dem or GOP issue so much at that time

but once it became apparent the infanticide it unleashed, the GOP took the lead in opposing it

Harry Blackmun was a lifelong Republican.

It certainly gives credibility to her pro-life stand. Might go over with the Lifetime voting bloc.

>>>Because of how they were treated, they went looking desperately for a solution....and they came up with abortion.<<

Well said.

Abortion was made legal by the Supreme Court in the 1973 case of Roe v Wade-— A case based on FRAUD.

Norma McCorvey was the plaintiff in that case (the ‘Jane Roe’), and her lawyers exercised undue influence to get her to cooperate.

She now speaks out on behalf of the unborn.

Abortion rights are based on a fraud.

Pray for the unborn.

the only people upset about this are:

upset she is not having an abortion like a good san francisco liberal.

upset she does not file a restraining order against the boy.

upset she does not find a nice girl in Massachusetts to marry

upset she got pregnant via sex with a man rather than a turkey baster.

_____________

This is an American family showing their best when things are worst.

Quite frankly all of us know friends or family who had a wedding with a early arrival pregnancy.

(note: the VP is going to be a grandmother! :-) )

Quite frankly we should send SUPPORT AND best wishes to the future mother and father and ask where is the wedding registry. (getting married and keeping the baby is to be rewarded)
