I have to question the judgment of a woman who would allow a 16 or 17 year old girl to get pregnant. What was the mother thinking not having her on some form of birth control?
THREE WORDS: JAMIE LYNN SPEARS
If the MSM werent such whores and blanketed us with images of these sort of individuals and their huge bellies and how wonderful it is for a 16 y/o to have a baby, then maybe parents and their teen kids would have a chance in order to discuss teen pregnancy and the real consequences of it, and the fact that its not a Hollywood glamour event, with baby showers costing upwards of $500,000...............
Really? I did a lot of stupid stuff when I was 17. How bout you, do you blame your mom? Your comment seems fraught with limited life experiences. Maybe you've just been blessed, I don't know. But things like this happen in a lot or very normal good families. How it's handled itself is a great test of character. The way it was handled speaks volumes to me about this family and it's all good.

First of all, how do you know she wasn’t on birth control. Birth control is not foolproof you know.
Second, maybe her mom was doing the brave thing and trying to teach her children abstinence.
She was probably thinking she didn't want to pollute her daughter's system--and mind--with birth-control hormones.
