What men have to realize is that many women, even with disagreeing political positions, like to see other women advance. Only the severely rationally-disabled, bitter hags of the NOW stripe probably do not sympathize with Palin. I guarantee that there’s millions of usually Dem-voting women who will be pulling the lever (or punching out the chad) for Palin in November.

Your point is the wife's exactly. She said that men had been screwing up the country (overspending, energy, you name it)for years, and a woman wouldn't put up with that. She said that it's time to give a woman a chance because they could hardly do worse than men! She has a point, but we need to make sure it's the right woman. I think we just stumbled upon that right woman.
