I have known my wife for 20 years now. She is registered to vote, but hasn't since I've known her. She listened to a few minutes of the Gov speak at the rally friday, and declared her intention to vote. She asked me to remind her to get a new card and update the address, to make sure they would let her vote. It's amazing!

I have a friend whose mother is an FDR Democrat. She also indicated her intention to vote for McCain/Palin. She said that she had NEVER voted for any Republican, but this choice gave her a reason to break ranks.

My 87 year old mother, also an FDR democrat, told me more than a month ago that she would be voting for McCain. Palin on the ticket will only help solidify that position.
