Uhhh sorry but utter craziness is bemoaning a candidate that has been chosen who agrees with us on at least a majority of his views.

The primaries are over we have McCain/Palin, if you don't like them then like you can wait until 2012(or vote for ubummah/plugs) and try and change the equation. It's not gonna change now.

It won't change just because you complain.

Juan was chosen by the MSM, the powers that be, and the Democrats and liberals who crossed the aisle to vote in GOP primaries.

Furthermore, if Juan supposedly agrees with conservatives on the majority of his views, then why is he all for Al Gore's carbon cap-and-trade, amnesty and benefits for illegals, closing Gitmo, voting against Bush's tax cuts, and bailing out private companies with taxpayer money (Socialism for the rich)?

Or are you trying to suggest that conservatives are all in favor of such Socialist treachery?

Is it all about elections for you?

I’m more concerned about liberal policies being enacted by either candidate.

There is a lot more that can be done for conservatism than just voting a guy into office.

I’ll be fighting liberal policies whether before or after the election, and no matter who wins the election.

As I may have indicated to you once before, I decided in 1992 that the Pub party was in need of serious disciplining. Accordingly, I went third party and got the Clintons for my efforts. I remain very wary of McCain, but the Palin pick cannot be ignored. If he is lying about selecting her because she represents what the GOP needs, it would be a calamity.

But there often comes a time in political affairs, IMHO, when you have to take a calculated risk. I agree with Morgan's approach; Palin could be one of the first steps in the long road back to commonsense. Whatever, there is no question that McCain's VP candidate is driving the Rats up the wall. Eleanor Clift was even more rabid than usual today on the McLaughlin Group.

Everyone, have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day.
