I have several customers I serve everyday with Downs Syndrome, they have regular jobs, friends, boyfriends, girl friends, conversations, humor, insights, some ride bus independently, others have a supervisor, favorite movies, go to the gym, real nice folks, ashame for Democrats like Al Gore to insult them;
ON THE STUMP: Rhetorical Gore The Vice President as partisan bomb-thrower

In 1994, Gore blasted the campaign of Virginia Republican Senate candidate Oliver North for relying on support “from the extreme right wing, the extra-chromosome right wing”-an apparent reference to the “angry white males” who, in Democratic lore, were the testosterone-crazed barbarians behind the 1994 GOP election sweep.
Yet an extra chromosome has nothing to do with hormones. It actually gives rise to conditions such as Down syndrome. When a reporter questioned the propriety of
Gore’s remark, the Vice President mocked the concern: “Are we having a bit of political correctness here?”
A day later, however, he owned up to “a poor choice of words.”
Great post,looks like they continue to step in it.
My nephew has two autistic children. He’s not very political but I can assure you he will not like these comments by the MSM and Democrats as they pertain to special needs children. Add in a close extended family and I am certain this gives McCain/Palin another 100 plus votes they may not have had before.
