Compared to Biden, McCain is now looking youthful. Compared to Brokaw, McCain appears youthful. McCain does not seem like a Grumpy Old Man like Sam Donaldson, Biden or Blowkaw.

Great point...McCain was very controlled, but very incisive, this morning. Palin at his side will intensify the the impression that McCain is not just an old warhorse charging with blinders. He was energetic enough this morning to dispel questions about his age while not appearing to be just acting like a younger man.

McCain is looking stronger and stronger all the time. He must need challenge to energize him. Perhaps that is why he was a carrier pilot for years.
