The rest of us who take our voting privileges
and fate of our beloved nation seriously, and
clearly see the choice between a terrorist-marxist-
loving, tax and abortion happy liberal and
a man who willingly served and suffered for his
country, and as we ALL are, is imperfect.
But we know him, faults and strengths, and know
that he will protect his country, will not dissassemble
our awesome military, and he is capable of bold decisions,
as this VP pick shows.
I also suspect Gov. Palin will be making some surprising
inroads in changing some of his currently held opinions
as well. She’s a force .... for good.

Like the rest of us, it doesn’t seem like you’re perfect ... a little naive to expect it in others.

Have fun in your dark cave of bitterness.
First lesson of 2006: DINO TRUMPS RINO
and that is just two fakes both pretending to be conservative.
You are wearing thin on this thread.
Very thin I might add.
You have added nothing, have one objective in mind, and are still here.
I would think the moderator would have had you and a few more in a time-out by now.
What say you moderator?
Anyway, finally caught up with this thread...somewhat. Looks like come Jan 2009 most FReepers are going to be onboard with Cap and Trade, Campaign Finance Reform, "a livable wage", Open Borders, Amnesty for Illegals...Did I miss anything?
I dare anyone to call me a DNC plant or troll. And in the interest of full disclosure, I'm voting for Palin in Nov.
No reply. Everything you mentioned I agree with.
I just heard her speech and usually you can summarize one of these speeches but not hers! Every word is keyed in so well and so well thought out(no teleprompter apparent either) you become literally spellbound!!She is the real thing and will make a huge difference in the party,IMHO!!
Missed it .. darn it! Fox is all Gustav .. where did you see that?
Suddenly it seems we have young up and coming heroes after all.
C-Span I,try and get a replay she was simply awesome!!
I'm not expecting perfection; but on the other hand, I'm not a fan of glaring and egregious flaws (amnesty, bailouts, and carbon cap-and-trade). Should I overlook such flaws?
That is PRICELESS! Gigglingly funny! And I can’t remember when I have ever laughed at Bill Clinton until now.
Their post aren’t clearly marked, so I read a few randomly, and these are only the voters who are paying attention now
This was dealt with back in post 881 and a few posts prior to that one.
Since then, I have taken care to remain civil and answer questions in G-rated language. Is that a problem?
Just for the record, this is my first post on all this. I am not taking sides nor agreeing or disagreeing. I also looked at your personal information out of respect to your posts.
Having said that, let it go. Everyone here knows you are passionate for your positions. There is no disrespect for that or your right to express yourself.
However, let it go. You are not serving yourself or your causes by continuing. Back off and realize that the other posters are just as passionate as you are.
Keep expressing your opinions. That’s what makes FR great. But learn temperance and how to sell your opinions best.
Please don’t respond, either. If you agree, fine. If you disagree, there is nothing else I have to say on all this.
? Once again this has never been a knock down drag out adversarial thread. If you want to go play bumper cars out in the traffic choose another thread not this one.
Sorry, I don't get a three day weekend. Virginia will be holding classes tomorrow.
Looks like come Jan 2009 most FReepers are going to be onboard with Cap and Trade, Campaign Finance Reform, "a livable wage", Open Borders, Amnesty for Illegals...Did I miss anything?
Well, I think that many will tolerate it, since, after all, "the alternative is unthinkable," eh?
By the way, that Sarah Palin '12 bumper sticker is awesome. I think I may have to start displaying it.
Sorry, I posted something before you wrote this.
I will vote for Palin/McCain (reverse order intentional), and I will consider McCain/Palin if McCain promises to serve only one term. Otherwise, when I get my ballot, I'll cross through both major party candidates and pick something out of what's remaining, or write in someone like George Allen.
If you want to go play bumper cars out in the traffic choose another thread not this one.
I was on other, unrelated threads until I walked in at post 574 in support of calcowgirl. At some point, I was about to step out, but then someone replied to me in a vitriolic way, so I walked back in.
With any luck they will refer to his Harvard Law degree. I hope, I hope, I hope.
Elitism on parade.
