I personally had vainly hoped that Berg had succeeded in his first effort -- to get a temporary restraining order to prevent the DNC from nominating BHO in Denver.
It's not Berg's fault that he entered the fray at the last moment. The research at sites like Texas Darlin's blog had been difficult and slow in debunking the proffered COLB, looking for a paper trail in Kenya and Indonesia, etc. -- with mostly volunteers.
Berg did not even know there was a COLB controversy until two weeks before the Denver convention, and it took him most of that time to get up to speed on the state of the research.
As for what will happen poll-wise: yes, Hillary would get her supporters back to the Democrat party.
I hope that the Obama diehards will see Philip Berg as a Hillary person, blame her for Obama dropping out in shame and sit out in November.
That scenario would have been simpler before Thursday.
