The Obama campaign is in complete disarray. They are suffering ther pangs and sorrows of the damned. They are beginning to realize that there's a huge wave gathering on the horizon...a political tsunami that is going to roll over them.

Did the campaign suddenly regret failing to take note of Palin's unique place in American history as the first woman tabbed by the Republican Party as a vice presidential nominee? Did it regret missing an opportunity to tell women (especially Hillary Clinton loyalists) across the country that Palin deserved at least a cursory compliment before being subjected to the natural rough-and-tumble or presidential politics? Did it regret a swift descent into the negative, back-and-forth politics that Obama has so earnestly railed against? Sara Palin is a Republican so all past convictions are not to be adhered to for a liberal.

It certainly an interesting contrast when paired with the truly congratulatory statement made by McCain last night toward Obama, isn’t it?

Sarah Palin must be the right choice. I don’t recall such vitriol being spewed about a candidate as we have seen today.

Grandma probably called in to complain that she did not raise him to be such a cad, hence the revised statement and phone call.

I agree, but they still have great ability to do the Democrat bus ‘em to the voting booths thing, which continues to worry me. They were able to fill 75,000 in INVESCO Ctr.

It needs to be emphasized to Hillary’s supporters that the true feelings of the Obama camp came out in the first, bitter press release.
Obama disses women! Obama disses women! Obama disses women!

Yup. I said to the wife this morning, as soon as Palin finished her speech, “McCain just won the election today.”

By some accounts, close to 20,000 of those were press-reporters, photographers, journalists, newspapers, magazines, and anchors (local, state, and national from all over the country) and their crews.

Exactly...they started spouting “inexperience” and McCain’s people on TV started saying she’s more experienced than Obama. So Obama changed his tune...very quickly.

...not all Hillary supporters are part of the radical pro-abortion NOW crowd...many of them are heartland American moms who work hard and care about their families, try to do the right thing, but have a conflicting leftist philosophy left over from their state run schools...when they get to know Sarah Palin they will realize they have much more in common with her then they ever did with Hillary.

They all doth protest too much, methinks.
