EXCELLENT! She will energise the Republican base like nobody ever has before. A great role model for my granddaughters. I could not be happier!

HUH?? I don't get what the problem is.That's easy. It's not Romney. Anyone other than Romney means disaster. Anyone other than Romney and we'll not hear the last of it.
Doncha just love so-called "conservatives"?

Her newborn has down syndrome.

CNN has wasted no time pointing out--and reiterating--that Palin's youngest child has Down's Syndrome, that Down's Syndrome children require a lot of care, and questioning whether Palin can meet the rigors of VP role.
The female CNN cretin described Palin's Down's Syndrome child as "unfortunate."

She seems like a great lady, but is she going to get busted on lack of experience? Thats McCains whole campaign against Obama. Well, OK.... Now suppose Obama's campaign tries to make an issue of it -- what then? He has a whole lot less executive experience than Palin does. The issue backfires on him.

Well one problem I believe is that Eskimo is considered a pejorative term. Inuit is what they like.

"They picked her cause she's a woman" "They picked her cause her husband is a Native American" Etc... Etc...From the people who give us diversity mandates we have this. Shows what hypocritical morons they truly are and I mean that sincerely.

Her husband is an Eskimo, and thats not a joke. Go check out Wiki. Ive got totally bad vibes about this. Mark my words, this will not go well. They just said McCain was not choosing someone based on whether they could step in if something happened to him (great, he thinks hes immortal). He wanted someone who shared his values. Guess Romney was too conservative for him. This is the end, my friend. McCain is and always has been a risk taker. The MSM will be jumping all over her. Well, Im going to adopt a wait and see attitude here until I see this woman in action to form a sound opinion, seeing as McCain popped this one on everyone out of the blue. Maybe she will wow me, but from what I read about her, she sounds just like a female McCain, and that aint necessarily a good thing.

Indeed the MSM (CNN)’s first response is to cite a legislative investigation of her office nevermind how she cleaned house when she took office.
To: TornadoAlley3
Great choice. I didn’t expect it from McCain. He’s certainly running a smart campaign.

And THAT, media pundits, is a walk-off grand slam. No doubt about it. Barry who???

Do you honestly think, the morning after the Sermon At Invesco, that a Mitt Romney pick would have generated this kind of buzz? Really, turn on your cable...its like, Obama who?
To: SE Mom
Her husband is an Eskimo. What does that mean to you, personally?
Why in the WORLD would that be a problem
My how touchy. I never said it was a negative. It surprised me when reading Wiki that she is married to a guy who is an Eskimo. And as I didn’t think when I posted it that everyone would believe me, I said not a joke. Actually, just found out her parents were out caribou hunting when told to go listen to a radio about their daughter. I loved that, out caribou hunting. She just went up one notch in my estimation if she has parents like that. In fact, I like the idea of her husband being an Eskimo. She obviously has had a unique lifestyle up there in Alaska, and it should be fun learning a lot more about lifestyles in Alaska.

CNN really is insulting women. Most male presidents have had children, many have had young children while in office, and they did fine. To imply that a woman can’t do that is extremely insulting. This is going to backfire.
