Let's start a comment and update page as we get more and more info coming in. We now know Hutchison is not the choice. She confirmed she was not the pick with Neil Cavuto about 45 minutes ago.
Fox News has also confirmed that all potential selections will be in Dayton tomorrow. And has confirmed that both Pawlenty and Romney cancelled appearances on their schedules.
Comments anyone???? Predictions???

Elizabeth Dole would definitely be a dark horse out of the blue.

Maybe McCain is going to name some members of his cabinet tomorrow too. All this speculation over McCain’s choice is sucking all the air out of the Obamacropolis.

If we are talking women the list would be: Fiorina, Whitman, Hutchison, Paln.
Please let it be Sarah Palin

Conservatives are to McCain what Charlie Brown is to Lucy.
Great tagline. And very true.

Elizabeth Dole would definitely be a dark horse out of the blue. The only problem with taking E. Dole is that she's running for re-election right now, so that might just give away a Senate seat we need.

Palin is too young, to be honest. A Republican veep always must pass the Dick Cheney test.
This points to either a surprise Condi pick or the head of EBay (whose name escapes me). Or, this is a head fake and he’s sticking with Timmy.
Best,
Chris

Hutchison confirmed she’s not it in an Interview earlier with Neil Cavuto. So we’re down to Fiorina, Whitman and Palin, or a dark horse.

You can't make a silk ticket out of a sow candidate.
Thanks for the dose of reality. I guess I was getting depressed not having a dog in this show, so I actually started getting interested in who the VP would be. But with McAmnesty at the top of the ticket, even Reagan himself wouldn't have enough influence in the VP spot to ensure a conservative presidency.

Who says he was talking about Elizabeth?

Whitman would totally destroy the “No experience” attacks on Obama.

I will say this though: Somebody on McCains campaign should get a raise for playing the Media.
It's good to see a Republican run a decent campaign for a change and not get all wussy and apologetic. (Although I would like to see McCain apologize to conservatives for his past indiscretions...)

Palin is too young, to be honest. She's older than Obama and running for a lower office.
