I would also like to point out that Juan Williams was a great defender of Clarence Thomas during the Anita Hill hearings. He was suspended from the WashPo because of pressure from the feminist mafia, but was reinstated in his position as a result of a public outcry.
Williams is a lefty-centrist, no doubt, but a fair-minded one. Such lefties were once far more common, and come much closer to deserving to be called “liberal” than their intolerant descendants.
Thanks for the info on Juan’s defense of Clarence Thomas. I hadn’t known that. I agree with your assessment that Williams is fair-minded. I believe he’s conscientious enough to not support someone simply because of the color of his skin.
