These devotees are acting like they’ve just witnessed the Second Coming. I’m reminded of the same attitudes of people who swooned over Adolph Hitler.
.....And George Soros is ecstatic.
“.....And George Soros is ecstatic.”
George Soros worked for the Nazis.
For Style, I would give him an A-. Even though Obama is a really good orator, I thought tonight’s was a litle convoluted. He tried to put too much in it and at times, he was twisting on his words.
For Substance, I would give him a C-. Nothing there (again). He kept saying here is my plan, but it was all general. Basically just “red meat” for the faithful in the audience.
And factually, I would give him a D or F. He just flat out lied a lot during the speech.
Overall it played good to the people who are already voting for him. But I don’t think he converted many voters, because people are wanting specifics. They didn’t get them tonight.
Obama’s campaign hasn’t really seen negative yet from McCain. But wait until next week and the weeks after. They are going to hit him with tons of hard stuff. And it is all real and factual. That is what makes it so devastating for Obama.
Obama will get the usually 5-6 point bump. Within a week after both conventions, we will be back to where we have been for a couple of weeks now. Basically tied. McCain will continue to inch up slowly week by week. If he has good debates, McCain will jump up and probably stay there.
The last undecideds will break big time for McCain 2 weeks out. When it comes down to it, most people do not know Obama, and what they do know, they don’t trust him on.
