The jokes are flying about Obama in the temple. This could be his Temple of Doom. If he just becomes a caricature because of over-hyping and stage-managing events like this, he will be a joke and people won’t take him seriously. If millions of ordinary citizens don’t take a Democrat nominee seriously, how can that nominee hope to win the election?
There is sometimes a thin line between arrogance and stupidity. Anyone with half a functioning cerebellum might have informed the Obama Camp that a man who is already widely suspected of being full of himself (if nothing else) ought not be presented to the American people on the most important night of his life as though he were Zeus descending from Olympus to grace the mere mortals with his presence.
“If he just becomes a caricature because of over-hyping and stage-managing events like this, he will be a joke and people wont take him seriously.”
Of equal importance, it’s costing $6 million to accede to his demand to speech from this venue instead of the convention center. If Obama is this casual about squandering the hard-earned donations of his alleged army of individual supporters, just imagine how he’ll behave with several trillion a year in tax dollars to play with.
