This is why I cringe when anyone tells me how bright their children are. There is no critical thinking going on here, just feeeeeelings, nothing more than feeeeeeeelings.
This is not a slam against the police.
How would Columbine have been different if teachers had been armed, or any of the other school school shootings?
How about the Church shootings, what if some one in the congregation had been carrying?
As a former college professor in Texas and CHL holder, I am glad to hear this. I’ve been stalked by students and had one student become violent in the classroom. Just the knowledge that your teacher may be carrying might quell some of the classroom nonsense.
Of course, this will evolve into the usual debate by the gun-phobes. But, I wholeheartedly support it. If my kids were still in school I’d feel they were safer.
I’d like to move to a nice, small town where most everybody knows each other, and where the Sheriff can rely on citizens for help if need be.
Only thing is, I’d probably want to go to a bunch of towns, and I don’t want to be a drifter.
Okay, enough rambling
