Where are the “Save the Bats” tree-huggers when you need them? Why isn’t someone sitting on top of one of those turbines in protest? I just don’t understand! /sarc

But this is PC energy generation don’t you see. The eviro-freaks don’t mind raptors and other birds being whacked by rotors, now it’s bats. Boy, that ought to get some folks riled up!

Seriously, there are complaints about rotor-wash noise and a high pitched whine (I guess the turbine noise) that really drives folks that live nearby to distraction. I know the whine would have my tinnitus going like crazy especially if the frequency was not in sync!! Lordy! What have we wrought?!

Ah well, now we need to set them up off of Sandy Hook and the coastal areas...poor ol’ West Texas (our country) has its share, let’s aggravate some Downeasters for a change.

Or it’s because they hang from the blades when it’s not turning, and when the wind starts blowing....

So Pelosi has invested in a bat killing venture? What did bats ever do to her?

With bat-eating supercell thunderstorms about, I wouldn’t sweat the wind turbines...

We have a wond farm going up here in central Illinois. Out in the corn fields....Farmers are getting $5000 per year per wind mill...

I don’t think that there’s a live bat within miles of here...to begin with...

This is another example of the left being against anything...

You’re right. Those Environmentalist should go after the makers of the Wind turbines.
If they can stop the construction of a dam for guppies, or the cutting of lumber in the Northweast for an owl. What about those lovely bats that kill insects?

Aren't those greenies a strange bunch. Windmills are one of their latest graven idols, and never mind the killing of birds and bats, bats being maybe the most prolific insect pest eater.

They worry about jets and snowmobiles causing critters' hearing loss, but who cares about the loud WHOOSH of a windmill causing hearing loss?

Can't any of them think???

I was just reading an article in the WSJ about the problems that the largest manufacturer of wind turbines, located in India, is having. It seems that not only do the turbines not produce the amount of power that is claimed, the blades on the windmills are cracking and shimmying at high speeds.

Now, the fact that the largest manufacturer is located in India reminded me of Enron and the fact that Enron’s problems all began in India, when with the help of Ron Brown, Enron built natural gas fired power plants for India, when India has no natural gas available. The plants were never completed, and never paid for.

You may wonder where I’m going with all this. Well, I started to think about Enron and the connections to the Democrat Party. This led me to wonder if Enron was into wind production and if Boone Pickens and Nancy Pelosi had any connections to the former Enron Wind projects. Sure enough, Enron Wind was purchased by GE and T. Boone Pickens is heavily invested in the GE Wind Turbine Project. Then we heard that Nancy Pelosi has also invested in the projects with Pickens.

None of this really matters except that the Democrats have demonized ENRON as a Republican scam and it has never been that.It has always been tied to the Democrats.
