DENVER - Democratic delegates from Michigan and Florida were awarded full voting rights at the national convention Sunday, despite holding early primaries against party rules.

The convention credentials committee voted unanimously to restore the voting privileges at the behest of Barack Obama, the party's presumptive nominee for president. The states were initially stripped of delegates for holding primaries before Feb. 5. The party's rules committee restored the delegates in May, but gave them only half votes.

When they are added, does Hillary have the votes to grab the nomination?

Hmmmm, I wonder what this does for Hillary. It will be an interesting dimocRAT convention as the Clintons seem to be getting what they want.

Obama already got delegates that he didn’t earn. Does it really matter if they now get full rights?

A strong case could be made that had these states been awarded full delegate status at the time of their primaries, Hillary would have gained enough momentum to trounce Obama. Hehe.

Are there any reliable sources that have "done the math" to see what this does for Hillary? Links please.....where's Tim Russert's dry-mark board when you need it?

Exactly. Doing this now is meaningless. In fact it may piss people off even more. Why is it all of the sudden ok to count their votes now, but not months ago? The DNC is just plain stupid.

Rules don’t matter to the DNC. It’s like grounding your misbehaving kid from going out then reverse it right before Saturday night.

Yeah, and what’s up with that dog-and-pony-show Rules Committee hearing from a while back when the initial “compromise” was voted upon?
