This has already been a bruising year for Conservatives. It is going to get worse. However, there are times when we have to work with what we have. And this goes for the Dims as well as the Pubs.

Obama's very serious lack of experience is greatly troubling his handlers. This is the only factor that could have led to the selection of a VP with Biden's baggage. There was simply no other option available to them for offsetting BO's naiveté and lack of experience. Now, as George Will observed on ABC this AM, the Rat's have a "Kangaroo Ticket"-- the hind legs are stronger than the front legs!

Romney, like McCain, is not my first choice for he Pub ticket. But Mitt and Mac would be formidable opponents on a ticket with two sets of strong legs.

McCain has started doing very well running on conservative ideas, Saddleback as a good example. Romney has articulated conservative values that can be contrasted with the liberal ideas Obama’s policy offers. I am yet to be impressed with other choices, except credit for Rudy Guiliani because he simply stated “change is a slogan”, and Rudy is the attack dog that Biden wishes he could be like.
